What makes Rockbridge such a great place to play and learn tennis?
Rockbridge is an outstanding tennis facility. It’s been names a USTA Southern Section Outstanding Facility and is home court to a member of the SC Tennis Hall of Fame. Since 2004, Rockbridge’s USTA teams have put together 11 championships: six women’s state titles, three men’s state titles and two junior team titles.
And it’s a fun place, too. Sure there’s the costumed tennis matches at Halloween and the Mens’ and Ladies’ Quad matches. But it’s a great place to relax by the pool, attend a fall oyster roast or for parents to pass on a love of tennis or competitive swimming to the next generation.
Who do I call if I have questions?

What the heck is the Rockbridge VFD?
The Rockbridge VFD is an elite volunteer corps well-known to season any Rockbridge event to perfection. The corps specializes in beverage concoctions and rapid fire serving at the bar and at the service line. Known to commandeer the club golf cart, they turn a simple meal into a pork-tastic two day affair rife with story-telling, late-night tennis, backslapping and pool-clearing cannonballs. This non-so-secret society always welcomes new members with no initiation fee. We’re grateful for these members who generously give their time, talent and terrible jokes to make Rockbridge events that much more fun!
